Is this fork also dead? Answer: it's complicated

Open Augustin-FL opened this issue 6 years ago • 6 comments

Hi, It seems that no real code change have been done here since spring 2017, and new comments on CellularPrivacy/Android-IMSI-Catcher-Detector#926 are also without reply since winter 2017.

Is this fork officially discontinued ? (ping @E3V3A maybe ?)

Hi Guys! Always nice to see some interest... However, please read this post

The repo https://github.com/5GSD/AICDm has not been committed to since June 2017. With 2019 just around the corner, let's face it that there just isn't enough backing to get this project moving. :(

@E3V3A Maybe it would be nice to update README.md to mark this project as legacy and deprecated...and to archive this repo. If you don't plan to maintain the project anymore, then let's act its death?

LoL! With only 2-4 guys "interested" it will certainly not move forward. Nobody has responded to the most basic of developer commitments: https://github.com/5GSD/AICDm/issues/1

We know exactly what need to be done to get this off the ground.

What should really be archived and closed as dead is the now highly annoying, and since long hi-jacked original repo, which should be considered a developer trap and fake. Unfortunately still attracting people.
