Why is the speed of OAuth request in China mainland so slow?

OAuth can't completed, or can completed but it takes very long time. If using Proxy, the time taken is much shorter I'm in China mainland ,so is 500px.com be banned in Chinese mainland??

Update:I not think 500px be banned, because except auth, other speed of the other request (like get photos, get user,vote,unvot ) is acceptable !!

so can you please improve the speed of Auth?
