Instagram won't rip private profiles

Any Instagram profile that isn't public won't rip even though I am following the person.

At the moment ripme can only rip public profiles. You need a tool that uses the IG API and can access private profiles.

I think do (if not, we should) use the IG API. The issue with accessing private profiles comes down to using cookies to identify you as the user you are logged in as. Then it might work.

I tried the cookie thing and it still doesn't work. Ripme used to work on private accounts there for a while and then in one of the updates it stopped working

I've been using ripme for several years, and i've never seen it rip private instagram accounts. But I might be mistaken.

IAPI is rate-limited, so downloads will be very slow.

Instagram ripping doesn't work at all for me

It just says "Unable to find userID at http://iconosquare.com/[username]"
