e-hentai: download freezes at the last image of the album

i dont know if this happens to other people, but everytime i try to download galleries from e-hentai, 80-90% of the time, i will end up with this:

pending: 1, completed: x, errored: x

for some unknown reason, most of my downloads freeze up when i reach the last image of the gallery, it doesnt matter the amount of pics or their file size, most of them download normally and then freeze up on the last image.

ive tried waiting for it to just load, but no much luck there. so far, all i do is just give up on the gallery and click on the stop button and then the rip button again to move on to the next url in the queue

I have noticed this issue on version 1.2.13 ripping reddit albums. console log states:

[!] Unable to rip URL: www.example.com Waiting for threads to finish

And it does not go any further.

Testing with this NSFW link https://e-hentai.org/g/1025441/7a27e0a57b/ the album rips completely with no hanging (using the fixed e-hentai ripper that deals with e-hantais sub domain changes)

I haven't been able to repro this issue either on my end (even before the changes). Since I can't prove there's no problem, I've been leaving it open.
