the bar required to run the plugin does not appear on the chat page

  • What browser?

  • What device?

  • Have you enabled dev mode for plugins?

  • Does DeMod show up on the TamperMonkey's scripts listing?

  • When on the chat page, does TamperMonkey show DeMod as active?

  • Does the dev console (usually under F12 -> Console) show any errors?

This is new for me. I think chat has thoroughly gone past what makes DeMod functional for now
