Cannot locate cassandra.yaml error

Locally I never get this error.

I get a "Cannot locate cassandra.yaml error" when I try to use a Cluster of nodes remotely this is similar an error obtained when opscenterd config cassandra] conf_location ( a client application that uses thrift) is not set http://www.datastax.com/documentation/opscenter/4.0/opsc/configure/opscConnectionConfig_r.html

how do we pass this info to the firebrand driver ?
