feature request: add options for user default directory

allow setting a users default directory to $HOME for example

that way every time they open the navigator its in their home directory

Agree. It would be awesome also to define the "root" directory for the users. For example, to let them see only "Documents" folder & subfolder (or maybe it's already developed)
