Install k3d and use the make test instead of the circleci specific one

Testing if we can unify the scripts for testing with k3s.

-- Update: Sadly, the knative controller doesn't boot up under k3s in ubuntu. it works under microk8s.. but no idea. Let's try once there's a new version of k3d/k3s.
