Configuration option for arbitrary CRS display or coordinate entry

It would be great if we could configure arbitrary coordinate reference systems for display and coordinate entry. Since I always use tiled basemaps and don't want to transform my vector layers, all layers are using EPSG:3857 exclusively. For this reason I configure every QGIS LIZMAP project with EPSG:3857 preset.

With the help of Proj4.js it should be quite easy to convert the current coordinates into any system. The user should be free to choose which coordinate system he/she wants to use, from a list the admin has prepared.

QWC2 has this functionality already built in: GeoViewer Kanton Glarus

And YESss, arbitrary CRS for measuring would also be quite nice 😁
