Disappearing Messages on Beta - Doesn't Remove the Line.

Open Aeon1704 opened this issue 9 months ago • 5 comments

New Widget Beta works nicely (tho I would prefer 30 to 60 seconds time). But it has bug. Old message disappears but it doesn't free the Line. This is how new message appears after old one disappear.

Should be on top, right? With every new message it goes lower and lower. I do hope messages will not disappear on Local Area Network widget. :)

Hi!

Yes, obviously a bug, I'll try to fix it, thanks for the information 👍

I figured that messages also disappear if widget opened from Local Area Network. I would prefer messages to disappear on Stream Overlay, but I think it is not good if they disappear from Cellphone\Tablet.

P.s. only option to make this app perfect - new Messages at Bottom 👍

Yes, that's a good idea :)

Image Small screenshot from my overlay, tho I do use AxelChat in LAN, i still go with Donation Alerts on overlay (but it can be unreliable). So, it will fit better for new messages to appear on bottom, and disappear after some time. Game has alot of UI crap appearing and disappearing :D Surely don't want it to be permanently covered. Would be nice to have new message format: old4 old3 old2 old1 new (like new message appears at bottom, old ones moves to top)

P.s. added black background into CSS, but just for myself :)

After learning a little bit of CSS, I am am starting to think that this Built-In setting should be rather replaced with Custom CSS Documentation and Examples. Some of the examples I use for myself. At first i thought Widget will not recognize Custom CSS. But it did, so I've started to learn things. I also found Custom CSS plugin for Android Firefox, which allowed me to customize the appearance of the Lan Widget.
