Why license this under an open-source license without including the source code?

  1. nobody is going to make money off of a gameboy tech demo in 2020.
  2. there are incredibly good free and open source software licenses to choose from.
  3. i dont even know what you are talking about regarding the level. People could do either of those things, regardless of license.
  4. the immense irony: you are telling us why code shouldn't be shared... IN A COMMENT ON GITHUB

I love computer graphics. Ive coded raymarchers, raytracers, and all sorts of generative art stuff. I and many others would like to see this code to learn and to create. Not to take away this mans livelihood, which is almost assuredly not tied to a gameboy techdemo.
