The tool is not showing the differences between files

Hello, I downloaded the executable for mac and run it from the terminal:

bpmn-diff --browser=Chrome old.bpmn  new.bpmn

The new file is a copy of the old but with a box removed and some id changes in another one.

The files are open and renderized in the browser correctly, but there is not any diff feature showing up. So this is, I don't see for example the red coloring indicating the removal of one box, as in the .gif in this reposity readme or anything like it.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
