Request: Report which app changed hosts file

I frequently get messages like "An external application changed the host file" I'd love it if gas mask would report which app did this, or gave some more info.

+1, this happens multiple times an hour and it's making me semi-paranoid :)

I hope someone can correct me on this but it's not possible to detect which program changed the file. Gas Mask listens for file change events, those events don't tell who changed the file.

IMO this is definitely worth a discussion. An optional log might suffice 🤔
