9.4 / 9.5 / 9.6?
Are we planning on updating this for 9.5 and 9.6?
(Or merging into pg_stat_statements) ?
I'd say we should update this to the new versions.
I don't see how we could merge it into pg_stat_statements - we can merge the views, due to the different granularity, so we'd end up with an extension containing two views. But that actually does not spare us the need to actually make it compatible first.
Moreover, I don't see how we could merge it into pg_stat_statements in already released versions (and also 9.6 as that's frozen for a few months).
@ringerc @tvondra Minor note: If you invest resources into pg_stat_plans again (which is a great extension!), please consider fixing/investigating https://github.com/2ndQuadrant/pg_stat_plans/issues/39
Its dangerous to publicize this extension otherwise.
Could you post your fix?

@simonat2ndQuadrant I unfortunately don't have one - we abandoned pg_stat_plans for pg_stat_statements back in 2014 due to this issue.
Unfortunately I neither have the resources nor the know-how to fix it, but for someone who wrote the extension it should be fairly straightforward I imagine.
Hi! Some news about this one? Will be updated for the related versions? Thanks!
