How to include only specified applications in the proxy-tunnel?

Open probosciger opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Hello! I use v2rayN-with-Core, v6.55. I need the following usage scenario:

  1. By default, traffic is directly (no proxy);
  2. Only a few specified applications work through a proxy

How to configure routing? I tried:

  1. Created new Rule Set List
  2. Added a new rule with the following settings (This rule routes all traffic directly) Screenshot_6
  3. Added a new rule with the following settings (This rule only routes Firefox web browser through the proxy) Screenshot_7

I expect only the Firefox browser to be through proxy. I expect other browsers and other apps to be directly.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. There is no Internet at all after these settings. Please help me set up the scenario I need. P.S. I don't use the system proxy, I only use the TUN mode

Hi! I had the same issue. I've configured V2rayN with the same set of rules as you for Firefox tunneling but after that I've changed Settings -> Option Setting -> CoreType settings to "sing_box" изображение That helped me to set up tunnel only for Firefox. Other apps are using direct connection

It works correctly! Thanks for your reply, friend! UPD: it is necessary to list applications without spaces Screenshot_10
