I would assume the PiPico to have sufficient I/O to drive a matrix in standard parallel mode with the PI matrix driver - so I don't see the need to support it in PxMatrix

Can you provide the link please of this driver please?

I don't think there's much difference in ESP32 and Pi Pico in terms of I/O. So Pi Pico should be supported
