[Browse Map] Map overlay "Hillshadow" doesn't work.

Describe the bug

Seit heute erhalte ich beim Laden der Geocaching Map die Anzeige wie im angehängten Bild. Ich nutze folgende Karten in der Auswahl:

• Geocaching Karte
• OpenStreetMap in den Ausführungen Default, German Style, Hike and Bike
• Thunderforest Map in den Ausführungen Opencycle und Landscape
• Stamen Maps
• Google Map
• Google Satelite
• CyclOSM

Allle Karten zeigen dieses Phänomen, solange die Option "Hillshadow" aktiviert ist. Wird die Option deaktiviert, werden mit Ausnahme der "OpenStreetMap Hike and Bike" die Karten normal angezeigt. Die "Hike and Bike" zeigt weiterhin die fehlerhafte Darstellung.

Bis heute Morgen funktionierte die Darstellung problemlos. Da ich nicht weiß, ob das nur bei mir ein Problem ist oder ob es auch andere betrifft, wollte ich es auf diesem Weg melden.

System: Win10 Ver. 21H1, Firefox 96.0.2 (64-Bit), Tampermonkey, GClH II und andere Geocaching-Scripts, die bisher alle gut zusammen funktionierten.

To Reproduce

1. In der GClH - Settings ist die Voreinstellung "OpenStreetMap Hike and Bike" sowie "Hillshadow" eingestellt
2. Geocaching Maps wird aufgerufen
3. Fehlerhafte Kartendarstellung wird angezeigt
4. "Hillshadow" wird deaktiviert
5. Es erfolgt keine Änderung
6. Eine andere Karte wird gewählt
7. Die Darstellung ist korrekt
8. "Hillshadow" wird wieder aktiviert
9. Die Darstellung ist wieder fehlerhaft

Expected behavior

Beim Aufruf der Karte soll die Darstellung wieder korrekt sein.

danke für die Meldung des Problems.

Es scheint ein grundsätzliches Problem beim Laden der Kacheln von einigen Openstreetmap basierten Karten zu geben. "Hillshadow" gehört auch dazu und "OpenStreetMap Hike and Bike" eben auch. Ich bekomme den Fehler auch bei "OpenStreetMap Black and White".

Das Problem taucht auch bei anderen Anwendungen auf (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/little-navmap-maps-missing/492198) und besteht auch wenn der GClh abgeschaltet ist und man sich aus den Standard Layern beispielsweise "OpenStreetMap Black and White" auswählt.

Ich vermute, dass der Zugriff auf die Kacheln gestört ist und es sich um ein Problem bei Openstreetmap handelt. Wir sollten denen etwas Zeit geben das Problem zu beheben. Lass uns etwas abwarten.

Bisher verantwortlich für die Hillshadows in "Hillshadow" und auch in den Layern "OpenStreetMap Hike and Bike" und "OpenStreetMap Black and White" ist wohl "TheDJ".

To fully cleanup, someone needs to remove the tile data from the NFS server btw. /data/project/tiles/

Der Service steht wohl nicht mehr korrekt zur Verfügung und könnte in Zukunft auch komplett abgeschaltet werden, sofern sich niemand meldet, der den Service übernimmt.

Hoffen wir mal das Beste und warten noch etwas ab.

Als Ersatz für den Layer "OpenStreetMap Hike and Bike" könnte "CyclOSM: OSM-based bicycle map" verwendet werden.

• Das Overlay "Hillshadow" funktioniert nicht.
• Entsprechende Info im nächsten Changelog aufnehmen, auch mit Verweis auf ursprüngliche Changelog Info.

The "Hillshadow" service is no longer available. We have removed the feature. We'll keep an eye on it, maybe the service will be reactivated, then we'll reinstall it.
