Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I can link Organice to my Nextcloud via the WebDAV integration (which is awesome), but if I could go to Organice and/or edit .org files directly from the Nextcloud files view, that would be even more awesome.

Describe the solution you'd like I don't know how exactly Nextcloud apps work, but step 1 might be to just add an icon in the top bar (like the one for Calendar, Notes, etc). That would presumably also automate the WebDAV setup, which would make this even more user-friendly. Directly opening an .org file in Nextcloud's files view and being taken to Organice would be even cooler.

Describe alternatives you've considered Linking via WebDAV is a good start.

We’ve had the same issue request in the past, so it looks like this is something that multiple people might be interested in.

I don’t have any experience with NextCloud apps, though. So I have a question that’s probably trivial: Isn’t the feature you’re proposing something that would have to be built from NextCloud (and then maybe add an integration on organice)?

Apart from how it would be implemented, are you interested in doing the integration?

However, I know @AnotherKamila and she's prolific in several FOSS communities and we regularly meet up at the Hack4Glarus hackathon. Hence, I'm leaving it open for the time being. Maybe we can look at it at the next Hackathon. Or somebody might do it beforehand(;

I have used this add-on in Nextcloud which has been helpful for creating and editing the plain text files within Nextcloud, but obviously there is no parser support fro Org mode. There is also an open enhancement request in that repo for native org file support.

Tried to connect to my Nextcloud via WebDAV (and failed a.t.m., need to figure out why), so +1 to this if anyone knows out how to deploy on the platform. That'd be cool. Will add this to my hobby project list and look into it as well :)
