basilisk v3 x hyperspeed not registering on device list

I have refreshed the device list several times, but this mouse is not showing up on the drop-down menu as a registered device. It is connected via bluetooth to my m1 pro (Sonoma 14.1.1). Does it need to connected via USB to be recognized? Or is this device not currently supported?

Another note--I can confirm that my keyboard (razer blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed) is not registering on the drop-down for razer macos. According to the docs, this is confirmed a supported device. It is also connected via BT. Do I need to connect via USB for razer macos to recognize the device?

I have a Basilisk v3 pro, same problem, tried every possible connection
