Razer Basilisk V3 PRO not supported?
I tried to configure my Basilisk V3 Pro but can't connect it. There's no device shown with cable, BT and the 2.4 GHz dongle. Is this model not supported?
Same, V3 Pro is not detected. @1kc can you add support for basilisk v3 pro? There are few issues reported with this mouse since last few months, so it's quite urgent for us 😄
Same here, currently using V3 Pro but to no success in getting the mouse seen on Razer Macos
At my github there's a fork of razer-macos with instructions to build the app. Currently my Basilisk V3 Pro is detected and RGB features works both wired and wireless. Also I was really happy that it stores it's RGB settings even when app is closed, Synapse 3 doesn't offer such feature, after closing it mouse changes RGB to default. Feel free to use it and enjoy. Peace! 🔥 🔥 🔥
@94lucasm how did you add codes? How did you add it to the software?
@jjewny007 sorry for late reply. I checked device's address in openrazer,
Razer Basilisk V3 Pro (Wired) | 1532:00AA |
---|---|
Razer Basilisk V3 Pro (Wireless) | 1532:00AB |
then added it to librazermacos, followed instructions in README, then defined .json describing specific device (Basilisk PRO v3 based on Basilisk, just changed DPI). Then I builded the app and it worked as expected.
@94lucasm No worries, I am sorry I don't understand .. I am new to this,,

Thank you so much for this. I've got a Basilisk V3 Pro as well, tried building an app from your repo and encountered all kinds of fun (first time building an app here). Had to install node, update python, Xcode, resolve some babel versioning dependencies: it all boiled down to npm complaining about vulnerabilities. Did you manage to overcome those by patching? also a noob question, to make a dmg, one needs to input appleID and password in release.sh, correct? (I do not have apple dev account). Sorry if questions sound a bit basic, appreciate your work

Hey @94lucasm , is there any way to download your version, with the support for Basilisk V3 Pro, of the app? Cheers!
Sounds related to https://github.com/1kc/razer-macos/issues/682.

After 3 hours of not having a clue of what I'm doing and with a little help from chatGPT, I actually got this to work and build your repo. Thank you so much!!
I uploaded the built dmg to my dropbox for anyone that wants support for basilisk v3 pro: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qd6k43lu8seaet3/Razer%20macOS-0.4.10.1-universal.dmg?dl=0
@GeorgeeNico hello Basilisk V3 PRO Already working perfectly, can you help add support for Razer Mouse Dock Pro
Thank you @GeorgeeNico.
Installed and opened this, but all I get is the following when opening that Razer macOS app:
Any idea what I need to do to have the device recognised? Tried via dongle and via USB.
@damirkotoric No problem with normal installation
@GeorgeeNico
This is a HUGE help and greatly appreciated. I noticed, however, that not all of the RGB options are available (i.e. Reactive, Breathe, Starlight, Ripple, Wheel, etc). Any chance of getting those added and a new rebuild being made available here, again, for download?
@GeorgeeNico, can you create a pull request against the main repo?
Just tried this but my Balistic v3 Pro connected through a Mouse Dock Pro, but it does not show up. Any idea what I could try?
Okay I got the app to register the device, but it's not actually doing anything to the device:
For example, I've set the brightness to 0, but my mouse is still cycling through the colours and it's very annoying especially at night.
So, even though I'm tweaking the settings here none of them are actually taking effect.

The same problem. Works only with standard USB dongle

Thank you sooooo much!
One more thing, changing the DPI does not affect mouse sensitivity at all. Does somebody know why and how I can change the Mose speed? By the way, standard 'System setting > Mouse > sensitivity' also do nothing and I just have really slow and fixed mouse speed.
Thank You! Finally working, detected wireless & wired!
@GeorgeeNico Did you ever get the additional RGB options (i.e. Reactive, Breathe, Starlight, Ripple, Wheel, etc) for the Basilisk V3 pro? I see you posted about it in this thread a while back. Is there another thread that addresses it that I should switch to? Thanks
I've installed this version, my Basilisk V3 Pro works now, thanks! https://github.com/1kc/razer-macos/issues/778#issuecomment-1756178774
unfortunately there are some problems:
- 'state manager' does no work, tried 'all light off' when Mac sleeps - nothing
- DPI setting do nothing
- Polling rate resets to default 125hz after every Mac reboot
- No option to change the bottom light, only wheel and logo

For some reason this build crashes for me on macOS Sonoma, M1 Pro 14" MacBook
@damirkotoric How did you get it registering your device in the end? I am having the exact same problem.

Do you mean you couldn't connect your device to it? If so, you just need to click the three squares on the t
op of your screen (Razer MacOS logo) when you have the right version installed, then select your device. I found that to change to a custom colour, you can't just save it, you have to pick "custom colour" after you've saved it in the same place as where you connected your mouse.
Hope that helped!

Hey guys, thank you so much for what you're doing! I was about to return the Razer Basilisk V3 to the dealer, but this is the first build and the first app that detects it on my MacBook Pro - M3 Pro MAX with macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 and can at least partially work with it. :)
The most important thing for me was the ability to turn off the mouse logo backlight and the Pooling Rate settings, because I don't have this mouse for any stupid gaming, but for working with Adobe graphics applications. Thanks a lot and please keep up the great work. I am fully available if needed.
