Firefox also had some display issues - some bad rendering. So sticking to Chrome seems the best.
I wish there was a simple Windows installer that would exactly do those steps. Anyhow, preparing such files and make them work well takes time...
PS: The documentation at https://github.com/jupyter/jupyter/wiki/Jupyter-Notebook-Server-API#kernel-api seems to be fine with a post request.

To be more precise - some are just colored text and some are links that make the PDF jump. However, the pages it jumps to do not contain the bibliography....
Your propositions sound great to me! As #36 has been around for a while, the interims solution seems to be good enough to stick with it for another few months...
