Hey there. Are you running the tool on a packaged Electron application? electron-hardener won't work on an unpackaged one.

A somewhat-easy way you could double-check is by opening what you believe to be the Electron app in your hex editor of choice and searching for the following string: dL7pKGdnNz796PbbjQWNKmHXBZaB9tsX. If that isn't anywhere in the binary, you have the wrong build kind.
