Ability to share vaults to users

Summary

Ability to permission and share one password vaults with users and groups The functionality I am referring to is available via the website, and documented here; https://support.1password.com/create-share-vaults-teams/#edit-a-vault

Use cases

There are various use-cases where I could see it being useful to create and share vaults in the downstream terraform provider. An example is the creation of VPN credentials, that are shared to an item in a personal vault.

Proposed solution

I realise this is not supported in the upstream one password API, but I'm unsure where else I can find more information. Is this functionality on the road map?

Is there a workaround to accomplish this today?

Not to my knowledge.

I agree, access management would indeed be a useful addition to the language SDKs and the Terraform provider. It is not on the roadmap but we will consider your suggestion.

I can also confirm that, as of now, this is not supported by Connect, any of the language SDKs or the Terraform provider. As a workaround you can consider using the CLI to programmatically change permissions on a vault.
