Using the Method Cards and the CFA Research Guide as inspiration, here's a way that we could organize the pages when someone goes to print:
The main things to highlight are:
- Added the 18F logo and
UX Guide
title to each page for consistency - Added breadcrumbs at the top right that shows people where they are and left off from the previous page
- Added a title page
- Uses headings with h1 for the main section title (e.g. Research) and everything else from h2-4
I was picturing that it'd include everything starting from the Our approach
page to the end (Research + Design) and would exclude the Overview
page and subsections since a lot of that content includes links and won't be as useful for printing. Also, the links would be underlined but not blue.
This is all very first-draft and early thinking — any and all feedback and thoughts are welcome! We could also run a version of it by the design lab for input from a product designer.
Following a similar pattern as the Methods, I think adding a link could work well in the nav. Right-aligning it separates it from the main content and it feels like it's noticeable enough.
