Background Information

New CART vendor has been announced here in Slack: https://gsa-tts.slack.com/archives/C02BT4H5Q/p1644339263298799

Need to update to new instructions:

Steps to set up CART for your meeting, event, or presentation:

  1. Send email (to:[email protected]) with the following information . . .

Requestor’s Name: Event Title: Point of Contact for the Event (technical issues/difficulties- who to contact): Phone number and PIN for meeting room Date for the event: Start and End time of Request (including time zone): Names of the speakers / panelist / participants that are going to present on the event: Prep materials (acronyms, agenda, PowerPoint, documents) anything that will help the Writer/Captioner to prepare for the call:

What platform the Captioning will utilize: URL for the Writer / Captioner to connect:

  1. Confirmation information will be emailed to the Requestor’s Name with the captioning URL. Visit Live Captioning InSite page for further details.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Incorrect information has been replaced by up-to-date information.
