I've kind of soured a bit on the idea of aggregating ical files-- but @HarlanH made it work for a while.

If I was going to pick it up again, I would want to decouple it from app engine-- which would pretty much be a rewrite, I think.

We switched to the Time.ly WordPress plugin. It's... bad. But it works, sometimes. We're actually moving away from WordPress soon, and I think something that just aggregates directly from the Meetup API and writes directly to the GCal API may be the simpler way to go. But not really sure. I agree with Ross that iCal seems to be a giant pain.
