Cropping offloaded images

Hello,

In my website case, i have multiple web frontends and there is no need to keep the local file. So i've unchecked the option "Keep local files".

But there is no way to "Edit image" or cropping it again after this. Is this the normal behaviour ? How to prevent this ?
