Ability to use Facet by Meta filtering within builders

I am hoping this request gets enough traction for development sooner than later.

It would be great to see the Facet by Meta that you recently released for Blocks only being widgetized so that builders such as Beaver Builder, Elementor, Divi and the like can use it while building our archive pages and layouts.

We use Beaver Builder & Themer to create and structure our Archive pages with added facets, filtering, and quick search to help the visitor better find what they want in the results. We have used FacetWP in the past several times and love its ability - hoping ElasticPress will be able to add the same type of features and logic as well in the future.

Hey @natesprout, thanks for opening the issue!

Although you have a completely valid use case, as widgets are losing space to blocks, we have decided to focus only on blocks for now. Hopefully, solutions to add WP blocks to Beaver Builder will be developed soon enough (it seems there is a solution for that on Elementor already.)

I will keep the issue open at least for a while, so we can gather opinions and potential solutions about it here.
