HD Wallet support (mnemonic seeds)?

Would it be possible to generate mnemonics instead of private keys?

Maybe where the vanity address is either in a defined index ranged (top 10 e.g.) or only on index0 / master.

Not sure if that would be possible with opencl, but I guess because of the extra steps in generating the mnemonic seeds it would be slower? Not sure by how much tho.
