Is there a way to enable iGPU when bootcamp is on an external drive EFI Boot?

You can apparently use Command + boot disc to set that as standard at startup and add apple_set_os.efi to external usb does seem to boot into windows when that is done, but I’m not seeing the iGPU in device manager.
I also am curious about how to do this.
I guess no one have an update on this?
I also have windows on an external drive and just got an eGPU, then discovered the mess around it all!
i am using 2017MBP13'' with windows10 installed on external SSD connected via TB3 alone with akitio node.
with refind installed, all i do is select applesetosefi and then bootin to windows normally. both my iGPU and external gpu will be deteced in windows.

How to make it works? Because as I understood, the Boot Camp partition need to be the first one (so it’s automatic when you turn on the Mac, it’s automatically goes on Windows). But if you have installed on the external hard drive, how it’s working all of this?
Install wintogo version on external ssd (via usb interface) you do this on another win machine (whether it's vm or pc)
Or you can just install bootcamp first, coz somehow my virtual box doesn't work. It just won't detect my usbssd The ssd is just normal 500g ssd (it's Samsung 960evo),and a data to usb adapter It has to be wintogo, I think I used Rufus. Then install refind
