[BUG] Toolbar shows blocked item count despite "Show blocked item count in toolbar" being off

Open pkecerski opened this issue 1 month ago • 6 comments

Describe the bug The toolbar icon still shows the blocked item count despite "Show blocked item count in toolbar" being off in Settings.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Turn off "Show blocked item count in toolbar" in wBlock Settings
  2. Go to any website with ads.
  3. See item count in badge

Expected behavior I'd expect the badge to not show any number on it.

Whatever you did, didn't work - the counter still appears in 1.1.0

Have you tried restarting safari? It doesn't take effect immediately. Also try toggling on and off.

I toggled the setting "ON" quit wBlock, quit Safari, reopened wBlock, reopened Safari, toggled the setting "OFF" (desired position), restarted Safari and wBlock again. No effect.

Strange, this works for me. I'll look into the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm happy to help with debugging - I have some rudimentary JavaScript/Swift knowledge.
