Unfortunately this tool does not work that well. I either get many false positives or very few duplicates found, depending on the settings. I used 6 thumbnails instead of one and ignore white/black pixels on/off. Used latest ffmpeg 5.01. There are MANY duplicates that were completely missed which were found using another paid tool. Same video length, just different resolution.
and if there is a movie and a trailer cut for it, then your program will not find anything in common between such videos? Video Comparer do it, but it only for ms(
Thanks from me also, helped me sort my family album videos. As a programmer im veryh keen on trying to understand how this application work. Is there some guide explaining the inner workings, or is the solution to dive into the code ? :)
