`0x78` error code means `DE_ACCESSDENIEDSRC | 0x78 | Security settings denied access to the source.` So VDF can read the file but not write (delete). Check your security/access settings

Native ffmpeg binding can easily crash on corrupted video files. There is already an opened issue about this. Please try and split up the scans so each scan only scans...

You can see the order if you mouse hover the menu item. I cannot reproduce this, does the group have more than these two items?

File size has nothing to do with quality/duration so its irrelevant for VDF's choice.

I assume this is an NTFS drive? How did you created the hardlinks so I can try to reproduce?
