Just a small request, just to bring Notepads to the current Windows design language.

WinUI 2.7+ is not in a stable/useful state to my standard right now. There are lots of issues and it will break some of the existing user experience Notepads has. I will wait until a good version is shipped before implementing the new design. Btw, Windows 11's adoption rate is also very low at this point.

I would be very happy if the rounded corners only came as an option that is active by default with Windows 11 and otherwise disabled.

I'm not disagreeing on the stability part, but around 30% of users of Files are already on Windows 11 and it's only growing so it might make sense to port over some of the styles.

What about the 70% Windows 10 users? I don't think forcing a rounded corner for all userbase is also viable. Having rect corners in Windows 11 "is equal" to having rounded corners in Windows 10 :) (Think about it)

@JasonStein that doesn't have to be the case if the styles are done right, I think it would look fine in Windows 10 considering a lot of other apps already have round corners (Edge, Chrome, Terminal, Teams...).
