Recovery of unsaved tabs?

Windows update takes over, re-boots my laptop, and now, all my unsaved notepads tabs are gone. Any possible way to recover the same? (Note: I did not have session snapshot enabled)

Help!, as had important notes (i know should have saved them, but, well ..) :(

Hello, sorry to hear about your issue. AFAIK, there is no option to recover unsaved tabs. IMO, you should enable session snapshot, specially if you use Notepads to write important stuff.

Just a suggestion: Could Notepads by default, enable session snapshot? would help new users, and avert #797?

That could be an option, although it's probably better to follow the defaults the most users choose. I don't know if the app has any way to track defaults regarding to the settings. In the README it's stablished clearly the usage of AppCenter "to collect basic usage data plus some minimum telemetry", but I haven't checked if that includes any of the settings.

Session snapshot including other settings(except search engine) options are tracked in Appcenter. My guess is very few people use Session snapsgot hence it is disabled by default.

Hi! I have session snapshot active, and still lost tabs trough an Windows Update. Are there any Temp-Files I can access?
