Having same issue I simply run "yarn install" and then "yarn dev" in project directory(windows) Manually open localhost and see can't get / [email protected]
Also If not yarn install and yarn dev works. You can use npm. like npm install and then npm run dev

the solution: open http://localhost:8000/ and after a few seconds project run
not fully shure how it works but i changed the package.json in the dev line into: "dev": "concurrently -n 'server,client' -c 'red,green' "nodemon app.js" "SET NODE_ENV=dev PORT=9000 & react-scripts start"", now it open on windows but i think it's not how it should behave because it miss the port
