V2.0 correctly skipping ads but still being detected by YT
v2.0 now skipping ads exactly as it should (thank you, 0x48piraj) but still being detected by YT. Is this now expected behaviour that we will have to learn to live with, clearing caches and signing out and in to reset it?
EDIT: Unfortunately, after more experimentation the static ad screen does seem to be occasionally present in v2.0. Sometimes it is dismissed quickly, sometimes it hangs for a while.
Can I see the extensions that are installed?
Also, try and clear out the cookies and do the whole re sign-in thingy. As of now it doesn't give me or anyone who I have talked to any popups.
No, the "allow ads" popup should not be seen, that was the whole point of this new patch. Try it out and let me know, I will start working again if the issue sticks.
Sure, as below. it's the bare minimum as I only use Chrome for YT. Don't worry yet – I'll report back if either the popup or the static screens happen again.

Is it working now or the old problem is still happening? I am a bit suspicious of the other YT extensions, can you make an isolated profile and check the extension and post back results? That would be awesome!
Sorry, didn't want to repot back too quickly. I also thought that any YT extension could be helping them detect FB, so I removed them, cleared cache and signed out and in again:
Everything worked fine for a few days, apart from occasional static screens that weren't consistent, but they did seem to clear quicker than before. Then today:

Tested for 20 mins or so, closing and restarting Chrome multiple times – have not had the pop-up since but now all ads have the static screens:
I'll add to this thread if the pop-up happens again. Is there any other information I could give you that would help?
Sadly, it's just happened again @0x48piraj. No extensions other than Fadblock running, as in the previous post.
That's weird... Nobody is getting the detection screen, as you said though, people are having static screens and FadBlock is not correctly skipping ads.
Hmm... Can you attach a HTML DOM dump when the detection happens?
I am trying to fix the static screen issue but for detection screen, I will have to investigate into it.

Just an update: I'm now getting the detection screen about every second day. I've kept the timestamps but no idea if they'd be any use to you.
