Unexpected behavior...

  • UAD does not seem to "uninstall" packages.
  • All packages appear in the "Unlisted" category (nothing appears in "Recommended" or any other category).
  • All packages in Unlisted are marked as "[No description]" but uad_lists.json is correctly created in %APPDATA/Local/uad
  • If I reopen the program or press the reload button to reload the theoretically uninstalled apps, it comes up with an "Uninstall" option instead of "Restore" (even after a phone reboot).

(In the image I attach com.android.browser and browser.provider have been previously "uninstalled").

Not sure if something is wrong or the phone (a Redmi3) is too old.

I have same issue with my other phone too (Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro), but the software works correctly with my main phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro).

But if i uninstall it via ADB directly (using adb shell pm uninstall --user x a.package.name in command line), it works correctly

Can confirm, with that command the packages are uninstalled and the GUI shows as "Restore".

So now "the only problems" (I manually deleted all the bloatware) is on UAD: Getting the description of any package and the "Recommended list"

https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater/issues/490 Hi, that also happens to my really old Samsung SM-A700S running Android 6.0.1. Every other device I tried works porperly with the programme.
