go on with it?

my request would be to go on with it. or is the project already dead?

the dashboard looks and feels horrible - and is even worse to build - for years now ...

Not sure if this project is continued or not, but they're busy inside Home Assistant itself to make this possible. We saw some footage of it in the home assistant devs on their twitter. https://twitter.com/i/status/1578367230575722496

I've brought the drag/drop in again during the WTH month, and seems like at least they're busy with it. So let's wait and just build your dashboards the old way (with some help of layout-cards for example).

i installed this using hacs just a few minutes ago and it seems to be working just fine

ive only added 2 "sections" to that view but it seems to be working pretty good this far

yes, me too. and i'm very pleased with it. Of course is just a beginning to a more modern dashboard, but it's a start.

I just wonder why it stopped in development 2 years ago... :(
