ERROR HTTPError: 400 Bad Request from https://upload.pypi.org/legacy/
User '6r4n' does not have a verified primary email address. Please add
a verified primary email before attempting to upload to PyPI. See
         https://pypi.org/help/#verified-email for more information.

The PyPi page is here: https://pypi.org/project/zeromq-pyre/

The only maintainer is https://pypi.org/user/6r4n/ but i don't recognise the username. @sphaero I see your email address is associated with the project in some way. Are you able to make changes to the project? Can we add your or my account as the maintainer to move forward?

I don't know him either. So either we find him or: https://peps.python.org/pep-0541/#how-to-request-a-name-transfer

Perhaps @papr might know more? ref: https://github.com/zeromq/pyre/commit/9cd7f8828276c1ddfefc7f98bf1e831d4c5f5f7f

Hi, unfortunately that user name does not ring a bell for me. But if the package is uploaded to their account they must have provided the api key and have someone enter it as a github secret. I have no clue how that happened. I just know that I asked for it 4 years ago https://github.com/zeromq/pyre/issues/14#issuecomment-852395826

Yeah the upload key is fine I guess. It's only denied because the emailaddress on the Pypi account isn't verified.

i've sent an email to zeromq-dev, will give it a few days to see if anything comes back...

no response, the criteria for an abandoned project are met and so i've opened a PyPI request for this: https://github.com/pypi/support/issues/5705
