What happened?

Before today's update I was able to open a new tab by double-clicking on a free space in the tab list on the sidebar. However, after the update it just maximizes or restores the window. I tried to find the setting in about:config and in the regular settings to no success. Is the feature gone, or is it a bug?

It's a bug. Fixed in the latest Twilight releases already, so will come back to release.

@Propheticus This was an awesome feature, could we have this as an option to enable? I don't have the new tab button as I run a more minimal sidebar UI and having ability to double click anywhere on sidebar to open new tab was such a great UX imo.

@labithiotis It's already back in 1.12.8b

I really liked being able to maximize the window by double clicking the sidebar, it was much faster for me.... I can already use mouse wheel click to open a new tab. Please give us an option to toggle it (if there isn't one already, I couldn't find it)
