Mouse history back and history forward buttons change workspaces when not inside tab container

What happened?

When I press the buttons on my mouse that are supposed to move back and forth through history, it changes the workspaces even when the mouse is not over the top of the tab bar. I'm not sure why but this is only the case around 70% of the time, other times it works just fine.

1.11.3b (Firefox 137.0.1) (64-bit)

Can confirm this occurs on Linux (Sway Wayland) as well, on two different computers. Back and Forward on mouse will always switch workspaces, even if mouse is over the webpage itself.
