I had the same issue. Removing and (auto) re-adding/enable the entry Zen Browser from the System Settings helped. I did it in the following order:

  1. Start screenshare in Google Meet
  2. Allow Zen prompt (see B below)
  3. System error happend (see C below)
  4. Error happend (see D below)
  5. Removed Zen Browser entry from list (see A below but removed not just disabled)
  6. Restarted Zen
  7. Start screenshare in Google Meet
  8. Allow Zen prompt (see B below)
  9. System error happend (see C below)
  10. Click Open System Settings
  11. Zen Browser is added to the list of Screen & System Audio Recording but is disabled
  12. Enable Zen Browser in list
  13. Prompt to restart Zen
  14. Restart Zen
  15. Start screenshare in Google Meet
  16. Screenshare works

My guess is that the system settings can't be migrated automatically.

1.11.2b on macos issue still here =( Also I could confirm that firefox itself is working fine with that. @mauro-balades could I ask you to also add macos label to this issue?

@keramblock did you try my fix?

@shiftgeist thanks a lot! I tried to do the same before, but I didn't know, that you can delete app from there completely, not just turn it on and off again.
