Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it
Using "gpt-4" via OpenAI. The response is partially generated, but then might be hitting an output token limit or something. Regardless, the "unknown error" is insufficiently helpful for diagnosing!
Environment
Zed: v0.155.1 (Zed Preview) OS: macOS 14.7.0 Memory: 32 GiB Architecture: aarch64

I get the same, also with gemini flash and pro. I also see "missing field 'content' at line 1 column 359.

I was trying to let Gemini summarize some text within Zed.
I also got the exact same error message with Gemini 1.5 flash:
When I gave the same question to the web interface, this was the answer:
Sounds reasonable and might suggest there is better solution. I have yet to see the same errors using VSCode with the same Copilot and Gemini accounts.

@reider-dev I think I replied to wrong ticket, what I get is "the server made an unrecoverable HTTP protocol violation".
I'm also having this issue with both Gemini 1.5 pro and flash, with flash getting further along the output

We recently landed a significant set of changes to our http_client and I believe this may now be solved. Can someone build from main and see if the issue is fixed there?

From my side it looks likely (sorry, not proficient enough build from main).

got it. Log in your Zed account (via github e.g) and then go to "Configure". Check the Terms of Service. Restart
I believe this has been resolved in an intervening Zed update. If you are still seeing this issue with a current Zed, please open a clean issue with steps to reproduce.
