`alt + click` doesn't seems to work for markdown preview icon

alt + click does nothing for me, but clicking on the eye icon, I get the markdown preview.

Environment

Linux Mint 22 Zed 0.147.2

basically how to make the markdown preview open/work. the shortcut shown is not working for me, or maybe I am not using it the correct way

Basically the tooltip is trying to tell you that there are two ways to open the markdown preview:

• click the eye: open markdown preview in a tab
• alt-click the eye: open markdown preview in a tab in a new split (side by side)

Is alt-clicking the eye not working for you?

From the command palette in Zed (ctrl-shift-p) can you launch zed: copy system specs to clipboard and then edit your description with those details under the environment section.
