Game engine under this name already exists

Not sure if you're aware of it, but game engine using this name already exists. It's closed-source commercial product developed by Piranha Bytes studio for their games from Gothic series. It's currently subject of few open-source reimplementations, like this one: https://github.com/REGoth-project/REGoth Changing project name on early stage can save unnecessary confusion between the two, especially taking into account that they are both projects of exactly the same kind (native 3d game engine).

I figured this might be a case. I've got a few ideas:

  • Nim used to be called Nimrod, and there were a few other biblical references here and there (e.g. Babel). Might be fun to find another one from the Wikipedia page that fits with the idea of a game engine.
  • At the 1940's World Fair there was a machine called the "Nimatron," that played the game "Nim," with people. Nimatron might be a fun name.
  • There also was a computer called "Nimrod," that did the same thing, maybe find something relevant from the Wikipedia page and use that as a name? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimrod_(computing)
