videos stuck buffering. wont play

Since updating to the latest version half the videos on my subscribed page won't load. I only see a black screen and the buffering circle.

Sometime they do load but only plays for a few seconds and then buggers again. Then it exits the video

No other network issues on device. Official YouTube apps loads fine

Device: Xiaomi mibox

Seems there are a few threads already posted about this issue.

I know this has been reported before but is there any update on the issue? Or a link to the last working apk that we can used untill this is fixed?

I have the same issue. I tried to uninstall but for some videos from time to time it just not able to buffer on time. Even if my internet is stable and fast. sometimes killing the app helps.

Same here. Very long buffering and again after few seconds of the video playing.

@steve51184 need a testing. Depends on the particular account, location etc. I don't know how Google detection works.

Same problem when using Smartube on Google TV. Not sure why but videos are fine when using Firestick.
