Why using adb forward?

why not just call the rpc server on phone directly? IMHO, adb forward adds another layer, and adb is pretty unstable, why using it at all?

@codeskyblue I’m using adb over wifi actually, as I observed, adb connections always fail after a few days connected, causing json rpc errors

as @codeskyblue mentioned, adb connection is stable as it is usually wired. If ADB connection is over WiFi - then it can't be more reliable than the Network...
