Issues:
Black screen. However, I can hear the audio of the EA logo, the 20th Century Fox fanfare, and then the Gracie Films logo. After the Gracie Films Logo, it hangs. Clearing the cache seems to do nothing at all.

I think because you can hear the intro sounds it's state-intro and because you can't see anything so just a black screen it's gpu-missing-drawing

I have AMD. Can you post a screenshot of what things look like on your end @simontoft?
I have MSI GTX750ti OC :) so Nvidia :) and I think Xenia can't render the intros well and that's why you just see a black screen.
same problem here im on geforce gtx 760m laptop intro works allright and the pictures but then black screen after the ``The Simpsons TM & 2007 twentieth etc.´´ i really liked this game when i was younger i played it on ps2:D
can recreate the issue, but after the last "The Simpsons TM" screen it hangs on a blue screen instead of a black one, otherwise everything matches with @simontoft

Black lines around Homer (and most likely other characters) are missing. If you look in a certain direction the screen goes black.

Only level loads, sometimes goes black.
So getting models to render in is quite difficult. I found a solution with going into next mission as an invisible model then restarting game. First mission, homer rendered when dying. The issue in this section of the game is of course the models however after moving closer to the blue marker at the back, game crashes suddenly. I now cannot continue with the game but was fun up until this point.
The D3D version of Xenia seems to work quite well lately. Characters are invisible until the first death but after then it seems to work fine. I haven't made it past the second mission in the emulator though, so my guess is that the situation hasn't really changed from Exayne's last post.
I reloaded after I completed the first mission and now the characters disappeared again, I'm on the latest d3d12 build.

So, I've ran into another problem, and so far I have no solution for it. Basically it is the same that happened to @Exayne . I'm in the area shown in his picture and Xenia crashes witihin seconds of loading the save. Does anyone know why this happens? Because for now it's impossible for me to finish the game.

I haven't found a fix for this, but I have managed to access the 4 missions that you get after completing the tutorial. I just had to be really quick with the tutorials - I did one before each crash. However the game still crashes in the 4 missions which is really frustrating. I'm guessing that means the rest of the game is inaccessible until there is a fix for this?
Okay so this is May of 2021, currently the Simpsons game is not working well yet. you get locked in at about 10-11 levels in and with the game having about 18-20 levels i cant remember? but it crashes on the hub world after the waste bin where you need to do 4 tutorials for each character even if you manage to get all of them done like said in pervious post the crashing still occurs even in levels, i have no idea if anyone is even working on this title anyone sadly a great game wish I could play it to the end.

I somehow figured out a way to bypass the crash in the master key room. The only problem now is that the Audio is glitched. All i did was delete my old Xenia file and I downloaded the master zip file and i ran the game again. (Im assuming there was an update for xenia idk)

The game is working 100%, but the ONLY problem now is the audio glitch, I am working on fixing it and or finding a solution somewhere.
I made an account to help tell you guys to do the EXACT same thing. Delete your old Xenia file, Go to the Xenia website, Go to downloads, and download the master zip file and replace it with your old file. That is literally all i did.
ALSO TO FIX INVISIBLE CHARACTERS: Go to Xenia config file and find "gpu_allow_invalid_fetch_constants=" And set it to TRUE
If anyone does this and it works for them as well, please try to find a way to fix the audio afterwards.

Nvm the game still crashes but not as often.
I've tried the game for around half an hour and I've not experienced any crashes, but some minor visual bugs, some uneven performances and the audio bug. Weirder thing about the audio bug is that while speech is basically gibberish in the latest build of both Xenia and Canary, an older version i have as backup of Canary renders dialogue much better, it still has pops and glitches but it's mostly clear.
Specifically Xenia June 3 2021 and Canary 27 May 2021 produce gibberish, while Canary 4 March 2021 works correctly.
Note: I'm using the Italian version of the game, not the english one, and I think that the disks contain only one language as both my computer and Xenia use english as defualt, so I can't easily switch and see if it's something specific to my version
still seems to not be working right now there is this crazy audio thing and the game is barely running for me on canary and xenia seems they are breaking more than fixing these days and I lost my save so i cant say if the gummi homer crash still is a thing just an update for players still playing and trying to fix
Issues
As stated earlier in the thread you do need "gpu_allow_invalid_fetch_constants = true" in-order to get the game functional at all, while actually trying to run the game I am running into Audio Stuttering, Skipping and a lot of Audio like BGM and any Voice Line is just garbled. The only time I've noticed no audio issues outside of delayed audio is during cutscenes. I also just noticed some slight flickering going on.

Does anyone know why my game does this? After I load up every time it gets like this and it's really glitchy and laggy. The game loads the menus perfectly fine but when I go to my save file it does this. I can still kinda move around, though I can't see a character moving, and I can move the camera but that's about it. The HUD that you can see isn't even there when the game initially loads up. It takes some good ol' fashioned button mashing to bring it up.
Note: my gpu_allow_invalid_fetch_constants is set to true
Also there seems to be some tagging convention here but I really just got into emulators, github, and this game and so I don't know how to tag. IF anyone can help me fix this I would appreciate it. The HUD that you can see isn't even there when the game really loads up

Also the audio is really shit hahah. Skipping, lagging, nothing at all sometimes. Sounds like gibberish if that. Subtitles help though
I'm having issues with this game when I launch it on Xenia master rather than Xenia Canary. Works well on Xenia Canary on March 24th, 2021 build. When I launch it on the most recent xenia master this is how the game is:

Hello, has anyone already solved the audio problem? I got a little better with the canary version, but the audios still have problems.
I think i found the solution for the problems
as previously said you have to change this: gpu_allow_invalid_fetch_constants = true for the characters to load
and next the audio bug I found out that this xenia-canary version fixes the audio bug: https://github.com/xenia-canary/xenia-canary/releases/tag/9da40870a
I don't know if it's me or the headset but i think i can still hear a very silent audio bug sometimes. I only have played through the first level and everything worked for me The audio now works almost perfect for me
