Issues:
Shows 2K logo, then a second into the intro starts spewing errors like no tomorrow.

Actually decide to try this again, if you hold "i" to ignore all errors for about 45 seconds non-stop, it will actually go through with the intros, but after that is just a blank screen. so if you'd bother, this shall have a state-intro tag instead.
No longer throws errors but still shows just a black screen after the intros. (No change in labels) Tested both vulkan and opengl with EmuCR-20160606
Update
Game starts shows the intros and after that shows just a black screen

Booted game. Xenia freezes on the Title Screen, probably due to audio issues.
• This game runs on Canary.

Played until I rescued the girl and made it to Battleship Bay. I'm really impressed by how good this game looks and how well it runs! 50-120FPS with vsync off and shaders cached. No graphical issues. Saves work. Probably Playable.
• Lights are not occluded.

A ton of extra screenshots (and potentially spoilers) because this game is beautiful. https://imgur.com/a/gwNcGwg

Game works very well on Steam Deck
First issue is that the FX audio drops out after 10-15 minutes, so no gun sounds or voices coming from the in game tannoy speakers. Other voices and sounds can be heard fine. An example is when you're going up the lift and Comstock is speaking to you with the balloon, you cannot hear Comstocks voice but can hear the NPCs voices
Also it has now started to freeze when loading checkpoints from main menu, I havent been able to play the game since this issue has arisen
I get to this point in the game before it wont let me proceed. the game plays and looks great especially the way water is very realistic despite the elevator issue not working to proceed further into the game

Going to echo what IIITTIII said above. I thought the patches I was using broke the game at this point but patches off and limit framerate on still softlock the game on this point for me. Good news is that saves still work.

No changes on Master, goes past rocket launch. On Canary this game requires new XMA decoder, otherwise it will softlock during rocket launch.
